Are you one of those people who have trouble remembering where you put your keys,coat or shoes? I have to admit I do sometimes misplace my keys but I usually know where my shoes are......or at least until now! Never fails like clockwork....I come home and I can't find my garden shoes, my sandals or even a pair of my good shoes seems to be missing. I ask the usual suspect "where are my shoes" It usually ends up with me wandering all over the house, the yard or wherever I think she may have gone! That "she" would be Burke. She always carries something in her mouth wherever she goes. Of course that means dropping it wherever she is! I have to admit if it were anyone else doing it I would probably be most annoyed but because it is Burke I think it is cute!

These are the usual places I can find them. She has stumped me a time or two...I found one outside in the back yard under the Cedar tree.... now I may have thought for a minute that was not very cute!
Burke has another little annoying habit.....she also moves all the bones around. She stockpiles sort of....actually I think she just packs them around and forgets where she drops them. It seems every few days I have to distribute bones back to their rightful places....equal amount upstairs, downstairs, inside or out. Then they end up like this! I even have a few in my car!

She is cute, and I am hoping that Kirby will not annoy her to much! I am also hoping that she will not teach Maddie Grace her lovely carrying habit. Maddie is very impressionable and wants to try everything that everyone else does. She is still trying to learn the face rubbing thing, but she just isn't sure why she would do it!

ReplyDeleteI don't think it is going to show up....so here it is again. I don't worry about Burke it is Kirby you will have to worry about! As for Maddie if she like to carry stuff around she is going to have a great role model. She face rubs and she does the swinging of the head, with the noise and everything....very wierd!
