Deer, Deer and more Deer
While on my visit to the Veterinarian today, we had some unwanted visitors. Fortunately Jeff was home and took over the job of photographer. He knew it would be good blogging material. This is when my saying "I hate Nature" comes into play. Our front yard is unprotected from these eating, grazing animals. They will eat your plants down to bare stubs in one visit. Over the years I have changed my plantings to things that are deer resistent. Now resistent means they won't eat it until there is nothing else to eat. There are many people that love the deer and think they are so pretty......me.....not so much!

Good job Jeff...he does like this blogging thing afterall! Last night when I went outside our resident buck looked terrified because of the fireworks. I looked at him and told him is was ok he stayed in the yard tonight...scary because I think he understood me and ended up staying put.
ReplyDeleteI know I do feel sorry for them....it must be very scary, although I wish they wouldn't eat my new little flowering cherry trees! Our cat is still kind of freaked out she has been under the love seat in the office all day!
