A Dog's Life Story
A dog's life is much like a short story. There is a beginning, an end and the stuff in the middle. There is anticipation, planning and excitement for the beginning, preparing for the end and enjoying the middle. Sometimes the middle gets taken for granted with the everyday living or sometimes even in the preparing for the end. I have had many dog stories in my life....one stands above the rest. I will try and share that story. In the meantime I will share some of the others. But for now my advice to you is.....be excited for the beginning, prepare for the end....but most of all enjoy and cherish the middle.

Why can't dogs just stay in the middle years forever? Thanks for always being there in the beginning, middle and especially the end! Hopefully Lucy has a few more middle years left! I can't wait to hear your dog stories, especially about your very special one...she can now live on through the blog!
ReplyDeleteLook at how young they look! I try not to take advantage of the middle years for the Bouff either! I think I did with Queenie, I really honestly believed she would live forever. I know this to be untrue now. I give Bouffy a hug and a kiss every night and everyday before I go to work. I try to remember I don't know how long I have with him but to make each day count. We all loved Mill-Mill and we are so blessed with what she gave us!
