A year ago Jeff and I were off to South Carolina to visit Darcie and Anthony. It was our anniversary and we were excited to see where Darcie had been living. Now anyone that knows me very well.....knows I do not like surprises! It takes a lot of planning for me to leave with the dogs, garden and all of my flowers. So thinking that I had it all under control we boarded the plane. The part I did not know about (and I guess everyone else did) is that they were secretly flying Jason over to join us. You know that feeling you get when you know something is up.....well I had no idea! I was so busy leaving instructions for everyone I missed the whole conspiracy. Conspiracy because to me that is what a surprise is! Well, I was surprised and then I was mad mad mad! It all turned out great, we had a wonderful time and I was very happy I had all my family together for our anniversary. But I am not sure they will surprise me again at least not for a while. :)
Darcie and I before the arrival of the surprise!
Jason and I after the surprise!

HEHEHEHE Jeff and I are masters!!! Alot of planning went into that suprise, thank you very much! It was the best, and see nothing bad happened to your house, dogs, garden and flowers!! Thank you to everyone that helped!!
ReplyDeleteCute photos! I HATE being surprised also, however, this was pretty cool! Plus Chris got to get to know "the girls" because we are still not sure where Nick was!
ReplyDeleteYou are the masters alright.....I was really mad but in the end it was a great surprise and I am over it now!
ReplyDeleteYes, thank you to Chris. The "girls" were so thankful that they pay him in "golden eggs" regularly:)
ReplyDeleteWe are very grateful for the "golden eggs" and I think I will bake something today with them to keep warm!!
