Out with the Old and In with the New

Well, as you all know my refrigerator has been trying to die for quite some time now. I kept nursing it along because I did not want to buy a new one. I think it had been revived for the last time 2 weeks ago. Jeff and I went to buy a new one. Of course the one I wanted was on backorder. But we took the chance that the old refrigerator would last just a little longer.

The old Refrigerator. Served us well for 10 years! Although the entire 10 years I hated it. I will never have a side by side again.

Well it really died and so we had to move everything down to the "dog" Fridge. Thank goodness we have it. I was getting very tired of going up and down the stairs everytime we wanted something. Also being creatures of habit we would forget and open the old one 10 times a day!
The "dog" fridge. My parents gave this to me years ago when the boys were tired of having the shelves of our fridge taken up by raw dog food! It has turned out to be very handy as it excepts any overflow happily!

The new Refrigerator! Isn't it pretty. We have now moved into the modern times and have stainless steel and dutch doors. It is huge! I think I am going to love it...waiting to move everything in! The next step is to replace the other appliances and update the whole kitchen!

  3. Wow...nice refrigerator and yes it is pretty. I think I want one now, too. It would be nice not to have to bend over for everything in the refrigerator. I like the freezer drawers...I bet you can see everything without having to dig around for stuff. I'm still not sold on the stainless steel, because of keeping it clean, but I LOVE the style.
